Kebanyakan penggunanya adalah para pelajar termasuk mahasiswa. Dimana mereka menggunakannya untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dari sekolah ataupun kampus. Ringannya produk ini membuatnya mudah diajak kemana-mana, termasuk nongkrong di cafe. Yang namanya anak muda nongkrong di cafe itu sambil membawa laptop atau notebook ataupun gadged lainnya ya tentu saja tujuannya adalah untuk mendapatkan saluran internet gratis atau lebih kita kenal dengan wi-fi. Saat ini banyak tempat-tempat umum yang telah dilengkapi dengan fasilitas wifi maupun hotspot gratisan. Dengan membawa peralatan tempur laptop atau notebook tentunya, kita tinggal menghubungkannya ke wifi yang tersedia dan siap-siap meluncur di dunia maya. Namun tidak semua yang kita harapkan berjalan sesuai keinginan, ada kalanya perangkat kita ngadet dan tidak bisa diajak kompromi sehingga tidak bisa on line. Seperti kasus yang pernah saya alami, dimana suatu hari dengan tergesa-gesa dan dengan semangat 45, saya menempatkan pantat pada salah satu kursi sebuah pusat jajanan di Kota Medan, setelah memesan sesuatu kepada waitress saya langsung menghidupkan si acer, namun setelah standby lampu indikator wirelessnya tidak menyala, coba restart tidak nyala juga. Saya coba dengan menggunakan shortcut Fn+F3 tidak berhasil juga. Gondok plus esmosi pun bercampur. Menurut informasi yang beredar dikalangan pengguna, ternyata hal tersebut sering terjadi sehabis install ulang. Ada benarnya juga, karna memang kebetulan notebook saya tersebut baru saya ambil dari pihak yang berwenang alias tukang install. Akhirnya malaikat pun muncul dan memberikan solusinya. Tanpa banyak bacot lagi, langsung saja saya berikan tips untuk mengatasinya. Langkah pertama adalah dengan terlebih dahulu mendownload drivers WLAN_ATHEROS DISINI Untuk mendownloadnya, agan bisa menggunakan perangkat lain. Setelah download selesai, extract atau copy file tersebut ke lokasi yang agan inginkan di notebook. Masuk ke menu Start > Control Panel > Hardware And Sound > Device Manager. Perhatikan list hardware, network controller yang berlambang tanda seru berwarna kuning. Klik kanan yang bertanda kuning tersebut dan pilih upgrade driver. Pilih Browse My Computer, dan cari folder Driver Atheros yang tadi agan download, klik folder tersebut kemudian klik OK. Klik Next dan tunggu hingga windows selesai melakukan instalasi. Restart notebook agan. Bisa dipastikan jika sudah selesai reboot, indikator wifi akan menyala dengan sendirinya. kemudian test dengan menekan tombol Fn+F3. Si Acer kini siap digunakan kembali. You have trouble listening to sounds on your computer. It’s a common mistake that is made. Check your sound icon and raise the volume bar to a higher level if it’s very low. Also, when watching videos and listening to music check that the volume bar in the application is heightened too. Laptops develop strange issues when they’re on for too long. Restarting your laptop will refresh your device and clear up most issues like audio problems. If you have a hard time listening to any sounds through your laptop speaker, or if your audio is distorted, this might be a result of having a faulty driver. You can check this by going to the Device Manager and then click on the Sound, video and game controllers. The Device Manager will tell you the manufacturer and model. If there is a yellow or red exclamation point next to the sound device this probably means you’re missing a driver and will have to find and download the latest drivers for your version of Windows. Make sure external cable connections for recording is plugged into the microphone port. If it is an internal problem with your built-in microphone, updating your driver for your microphone will solve this problem. Dismantle the top and bottom part of the laptop. Disconnect the bridge component that connects the motherboard and the right side board of the laptop, and replace the board. Netbook will not power on. If not light is displayed on the power button, you may have a loose connection. At times, the power button might get stuck at a certain position and prevents it from creating a connection with the device. One way of fixing the problem is by replacing the button. Securely plug in the adapter, and look for signs that he adapter is receiving electricity. One of these signs will be a light turning on , this indicates that the adapter works.
